A "Subprocessor" is a third party Pixla engages to process personal data or provide infrastructure in support of the online Services (Pixla Hosting, Pixla Mail, and the pixla.app websites and accounts). This page lists our current Subprocessors. It supplements the Privacy Policy and any applicable Data Processing Addendum.

The Pixla desktop apps — Vaporware, Pixla Sites, and Pixla Editor — run locally on your device and do not use Subprocessors to process your content. Their only automatic network activity is a periodic software-update check delivered over our content-delivery network (Cloudflare).

Current Subprocessors

Fly.io, Inc.

• Purpose: Application runtime hosting and backend compute for Pixla Hosting deployments.
• Data processed: Deployed application content and associated operational data.
• Location: United States and the Fly.io regions you select.

Neon, Inc.

• Purpose: Managed (serverless) PostgreSQL database hosting, operated alongside Fly.io compute — both for databases backing the applications you deploy through Pixla Hosting and for Pixla's own account and service data.
• Data processed: Database contents for applications you deploy through Pixla Hosting, and Pixla account, billing-metadata, and service data (e.g., Pixla Mail recipient lists).
• Location: United States (and the Neon regions used for the Services).

Cloudflare, Inc.

• Purpose: Content delivery (CDN), DNS, TLS provisioning, and network security for pixla.app, hosted sites, and app update delivery.
• Data processed: Request metadata, IP addresses, and cached content.
• Location: Global edge network.

Stripe, Inc.

• Purpose: Payment processing for paid Services.
• Data processed: Billing and payment information. Pixla does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
• Location: United States.

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES)

• Purpose: Transmission of campaign email (Pixla Mail) and transactional/account email.
• Data processed: Email content and recipient email addresses that you send through the Services.
• Location: United States.

Changes to this list

We may add or replace Subprocessors as the Services evolve. Where required by the DPA, we will notify affected account customers before a new Subprocessor begins processing their personal data, giving them the opportunity to object as provided in the DPA. Material changes are reflected here with a new effective date.
